After much anticipation, Love of Diagrams unveil Nowhere Forever, their third studio album.

Recorded in November ‘08 at Bear Creek Studios in Seattle with producer Ryan Hadlock (Gossip, Blonde Redhead, Steve Malkmus among many others) Nowhere Forever, is the guitar-drenched dream-pop record Love of Diagrams have always wanted to make.

Throughout their career the band have constantly stretched and explored their sound - from the pummeling instrumental beginnings of 2003’s The Target Is You, through to a skeletal minimalism and bold introduction of vocals with 2007’s Mosaic, (recorded by Bob Weston and released by Matador Records).

With Nowhere Forever the band perhaps reached the perfect balance between their guitar and vocal driven material. In some ways it represents a reaching back to the guitar-centric instrumental jams of their first album and in other ways it’s a natural extension of the melodic ideas found on Mosaic. Here they encapsulate everything that is exciting about the band and take it all to another level.

Nowhere Forever was written at home in Melbourne on four-track after relentless US touring over 07/08. It’s a new exploration of maximalism, - a heavy, guitar drenched layered sound that was perfectly realized over three weeks at Hadlock’s beautiful converted farm house studio filled with vintage equipment.

The album boasts Love of Diagrams’ most sophisticated songwriting and most beautiful pop melodies to date, utilizing the dual vocals and harmonies of Sellbach and Horton to great effect. It sparkles with the warmth and added depth that more time, attention to detail and loads more guitars, allows.

Nowhere Forever is the sound of a band gleefully exploring new sounds, textures, and melodic possibilities, while remaining true to the sensibility and synergy that have always defined Love of Diagrams.

“The new album is due out soon… and is sure to be a monster of biblical proportions” - Inpress

“An explosion of guitars, resurrecting the dense sounds of American indie-pop circa 90-94” - Beat

“No wanky metaphor can do this song justice. Beautiful”
- Drum Perth

“Highly recommended listening” - Rave
