A note from Daniel Rule - Owner/Operator of The Annandale Hotel:

TO ALL ANNANDALE PUNTERS
Firstly I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of you that have been supporting the hotel since Matt and I brought back live music 5 years ago. We love it and love you, so thank you very much.

Our gaol when purchasing the hotel was to support Australia's emerging talent by providing a space for them to perform, for as long as possible. For the hotel to continue on with this support, it is imperative that we work with our local comunity to ensure that the relationship between the hotel and resident is a positive one. So may I take this opportunity to ask all patrons that when arriving and leaving the hotel to respect our neighbours as much as possible, ESPECIALLY IN NELSON and ALBION STREETS.

The Annandale has been on a trial extended license for over twelve months, allowing us to trade until 3am on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, and until midnight on Sunday. This extension of trading is absolutely vital for the long term survival of live music at the Annandale. Due to the nature of a live music hotel we do sacrifice area's of the hotel, such as a consistent local trade and gaming operations. The extra hours of trading allows us to make up what we lose in these area's and also allows you the patron, not to be bustled out of the doors when the entertainment finishes. It is all of our interests to respect and work with our local community, so next time you are attending a show at the Annandale please keep in mind these few things:

- avoid Nelson St as much as possible
- use public transport or park in other streets but if you do use Nelson St please leave as quickly and quietly as possible, for full details on your public transport options please check the On-Site Biz page.

It is our duty of care to work with our neighbours so please help us in making Nelson St a QUIET ZONE. Again thank you for all your support and long live live music in pubs.
