What we’re attempting to create, for our debut album, has not only never been done by an Australian independent band on debut. But it has never been attempted by an Australian band ... Ever!

For want of a better word it will be a 'concept album', a symphonic work where every song is linked to each other and forms part of a linear story, utilising the orchestra for it's entirety.

We have on board ARIA Award winner Producer/Engineer Paul McKercher (Augie March, Sarah Blasko) as well as celebrated Australian Conductor Guy Noble who amongst a staggering CV was the conductor of choice for The Beach Boys & Ben Folds Five concerts with the Symphony Orchestra.

On top of that we are putting together the 'Sierra Fin Orchestra' which will be a handpicked 30 piece orchestra who will be recording the album with us. Very exciting!

As you could imagine this project is costing quite a bit and prior to recording in April/May we are holding a fundraiser which we hope you can attend.

What to expect at the fundraiser?

AIM students will be opening the afternoon show followed by a set from the lovely Lanie Lane.

A fun silent auction will be held with the following items up for offer, Signed Silverchair & Missy Higgins Merchandise, Belvoir St Theatre tickets, So You Think You Can Dance tickets, Classic Albums DVD Series, IRiver MP3 Player, Tooheys Extra Dry Cases, a Pure Well Being Massage + lots more.

On top of that a monster raffle with JB Hi Fi Vouchers, a Harbour Cruise for two, clothing voucher by Kisu, French champagne,two packs of 6 bottles of wine, beer (lots of beer) and cd packs galore up for grabs. All to support an ambitious and bold debut.

Ticket Information

  1. All line-ups and times are subject to change without notice, and are beyond the Annandale Hotel’s control.
  2. Please choose carefully as tickets are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.
  3. You must be over 18 years of age to enter the venue (unless the show is listed as an all ages gig). You must be able to produce a current form of identification – drivers license, proof of age card or passport only.
  4. To claim your tickets you must have a copy of your confirmation email and/or ticket numbers plus the credit card you booked with or current photo identification. Tickets may only be claimed on the day of the gig from the time the doors open.
